Intro to code: fundamentals in Scratch and Python

A completely cost free beginner-friendly class that introduces foundational programming concepts using Scratch, then transitions to Python for real-world coding applications. We utilize visual programming tools in order to familiarize students with programming to then move onto python to further their learning.

This course is part of a bi-monthly series, each class building onto the previous; however, students can participate even though they have missed previous sessions, as each class is designed to be accessible and engaging on its own while reinforcing key concepts. This course is designed for kids and teens ages 9 and up.
